Silicon-manganese alloy is mainly used as the intermediate material of deoxidizer and alloying agent in iron and steel production, and also as the main raw material in the production of medium and low carbon ferromanganese.  

As the upstream industry of iron and steel works, Anxing Silicon-Manganese Alloy Smelter is the first alloy smelter invested and built in Angola, which was put into production in November in 2022.  As the first manufacturer in Angola, the annual production capacity of Phase I is 20-30 thousand  tons for local production demand, and that of Phase II is 200,000 tons mainly for export (under preparation). 

After the completion of Phases II in 2023, more than 500 employment positions will be provided.
